  • I visited with my family recently; good experience! Museum organized and full of historical vehicles of the Italian air force and beyond. Bracciano was one of the first research centers on the study of aircraft for military use in recorded history. In addition to lead are former military pilots that enrich your visit with their anecdotes and experiences.

  • You enter perhaps little in the pioneering spirit and representative of a magical human aspiration, perhaps the most adventurous and daring, that responds to that of flying. We see airplanes and engines, but despite these sneaky and guides, often perceives thrill and magic, maybe the fault of the installation also cold and schematic. I added the ability to get on board, or to fly a simulator ... something that would help "feeling in the air," though with your feet firmly planted on the ground.

  • First of all, as long you can get to it, entry is free. It is open every day except Mondays. For aviation enthusiasts this is a must see. The aircraft are presented immaculately and most have English text explanations. There are many rare aircraft exhibited including three Italian entries for the Schneider trophy. These are worth the visit on their own. For plastic modellers excellent reference photos are possible, especially of the Italian camouflage patterns. As an added bonus the restaurant is excellent and very cheap and also the museum is on the lake shore offering great views of Lago Bracciano. Highly recommended.
  • Difficult to get to but worth the trip. The museum provides great specimens curated in English, and provides an objective review of Italy's modern war history. The grounds are some of the nicest for any museum.
  • Nice and free entry. In hangars it can be very hot in summer.
  • A beautifully preserved permanent exhibition, well worth the trip!!!!
  • Lovely Museum! Historical journey very well done and more than 70 planes from the pioneers of flight yesterday. Composed of 4 hangars, each with a dedicated period of history, is certainly one of the most beautiful air force museums in Europe! Also the location is very impressive, with lake view. The bat/restaurant back very useful and stop at lunch there is very cheap! The entrance is free. The store offers many gadgets r air force official clothing of A.M. and a small purchase to remember it is a good idea! I recommend strongly to all those who are fans of aviation and aviation in General and for those who don't know what to do on weekends.
