  • Exploring the Piazza, I stumbled across this area of the tower. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go up. The stairs are a bit narrow so high shoes not recommended, however, once up there, the view...  more »
  • Impossible not to see her once on the square. Its construction was long and troubled, until final of Bramante, a renowned architect and Renaissance artist. It is located just inside the courtyard of the Castle; It was built in stages, starting from 1198 until the end of the 17th century. Significant interventions were: when was modified by architect Donato Bramante of Urbino. With its characteristic silhouette, scalar body offers a complete overview of the square from its battlements on the streets from here grow, the Castle, and the entire city. On clear days the Tower allows visitors to admire the silhouettes of the mountains that make up the Alps, including you can see clearly that of Monte Rosa.

  • 1 euro and 50 can be spent for the Visual that gives this tower. The piazza ducale from above ... and then the expanse of red roofs ... beautiful!

  • Fantastic view of the piazza ducale and the castello sforzesco. On sunny days with clear skies you can see Mount Rosa. You can only reach the first wall-ends, but it's enough to appreciate the view. On special occasions the evening opens, allowing you to enjoy the lighted square. Rather limited opening hours.

  • After a flight not really easy it gets to a terrace that surrounds the tower and to admire both the indoor garden from the piazza ducale. On clear days you can admire the Alps in the distance. To get the ticket costs 1.50 € per person. To see!

  • 75 metres high tower, accessible by climbing a stairway Piazza Ducale, entering thus also in the Castello Sforzesco. From the tower you can admire the Piazza Ducale and the Duomo. Every year takes place the famous Palio delle Contrade in October and the oath of Carr in May. Events are set in 1460, at the time of the Court of Milan, Sforza and Visconti, and committed more than 400 Extras, flag-wavers, jugglers, drums and more.
