  • The square is very beautiful and romantic. Now at Christmas time the stores are a party and there are stalls. Ideal for a walk

  • Beautiful Piazza Ducale fortunately commissioned by Ludovico il Moro, true Symphony on 4 sides, I had visited a few times more than 10 years ago and a week ago tv heroes for an appointment, I walked in once again, the "face" as the locals call it and magically I was already almost in the middle of the sunny square of 6 December, semi desert but I wrapped and accompanied by soft music and subtle that arrived in the air , a Christmas classic and modern mix including Wham! There ' to say that in the picture the square seems endless but actually the 130 meters seem to even half of them follow it. Very well maintained, and too full of bars, cafes with tables and chairs on the precious Pebble floor and slabs of serizzo. The shops in the arcades very various, classic I would say, nothing sensational, more like I wanted to take the staircase to the Castle and revisit the famous secret blanket, in a moment I was at the height of the staircase on the grass of this sort of sunny clearing green surrounding the Castle, shame the usual dogs pollutants that "led to the blast to Vigevano" that I was in them I'd take him elsewhere to soil, honestly, this area is to prohibit me sec dogs obviously (I refuse to keep dogs anyway, if ever I volunteer). Take the blanket it is Heavenly and see the square from above by those little Windows open: sublime. Also too, could not miss the downside ... warning: the area surrounding the Castle appears restored and cared for, including small areas-forests of small trees scattered around etc, and usual sour note didn't even here: groups of young refugees who do nothing that at 10.30 in the morning were already all benches available around the Castle even by sitting sitting assembrtati on metal benches skienali with shoes on the seats , giggling scornfully toward citizens who ran around puzzled like me. But is it possible that the refugees have arrived even in piazza Ducale in Vigevano and that there is a system to reserve them with odd jobs useful to the community? Return them in major cities if ever where useful chores are not lacking. I wonder if in common in Vigevano ever posts this question or maybe ignore these troubles? Mystery. Because of refugees to pass the time they have to spoil it for all eternity I guess, the harmony that reigns supreme in this perfect square in Vigevano? Unbelievable but true, hopefully in common to take serious measures in this regard. Don't spoil the precious atmosphere that reigned. Thank you

  • Piazza Ducale is often referenced as one of the most beautiful squares of Europe. It is a main meeting point for the city and a place of great historical value. Torre del Bramante is the clock tower and can be visited to get a great view of the whole city.
  • Lively with locals, good restaurant options
  • One of prettiest place in Europe, full of history and atmosphere
  • Bella piazza, vale la pena visitarla
  • The beating heart of the city, with a charm: it's great to close your eyes, make a circle and then reopen them: come launched in another century and another dimension. The carousel is contributing to the climate of Toyland. A fairy castle, the torre del Bramante is imposing on the whole, the arcades a feast for the eyes, and the shops below make it even more alive everything
