  • Beautiful square, wide angle of view and many people almost always. Often organize tasks using common and is always full of people. Plus, the star of David (star of David) in front of the façade of the Church, drawn with the white stones that is worth seeing!

  • Commissioned by Ludovico il Moro to give greater prominence to his Castle, creating a beautiful Atrium, prestigious and elegant. Piazza Ducale is the heart of Vigevano: scenic space of great beauty and harmony. Considered one of the most beautiful squares in Italy between those drawn in Renaissance style. Square in the shape of an elongated rectangle closed to three sides by a portico of 84 columns (all capitals) while the fourth side is occupied by the Cathedral. Above each column there is a Medallion depicting Roman and Renaissance characters with mottoes and sayings. The floor of the square is made of black and white pebbles from the river Ticino forming geometric designs. Under the arcades there were all workshops at the time Brown, but now we find cafés, bars, beauty shops and ice cream parlors. On this beautiful square faces the Duomo (Cathedral Sant'Ambrogio) a mix of Renaissance/Baroque, but more than the Cathedral to catch the eye is the Torre del Bramante (Vigevano). There are benches and nothing else to relax two minutes and have a chat. Definitely a nice square but nothing fancy. Mostly closed, no initiatives, little used. Cute for a visit and/or a trip out of town for a few hours. Definitely worth spending an afternoon or evening in the summer because it seems to me a summer terrace, just to change and make a different kind of evening.

  • Piazza Ducale is often referenced as one of the most beautiful squares of Europe. It is a main meeting point for the city and a place of great historical value. Torre del Bramante is the clock tower and can be visited to get a great view of the whole city.
  • Lively with locals, good restaurant options
  • One of prettiest place in Europe, full of history and atmosphere
  • Bella piazza, vale la pena visitarla
  • The beating heart of the city, with a charm: it's great to close your eyes, make a circle and then reopen them: come launched in another century and another dimension. The carousel is contributing to the climate of Toyland. A fairy castle, the torre del Bramante is imposing on the whole, the arcades a feast for the eyes, and the shops below make it even more alive everything
