Spiaggia del Pizzomunno, Vieste

(3.3/5 based on 750 reviews on the web)
Spiaggia del Pizzomunno is famous for the white cliffs near the beach and the large white boulders in the water. The sand is dark, and the water is clean. This is a good place for children to enjoy the sea, as the water remains shallow for a long distance. Parasols and beach chairs are available for rent. There is also a pathway, so you can easily walk the length of the shore. • The beach was great the problem was the quality of the water that was amber and little clean but maybe that was because of the rough seas in recent days.

  • This is definitely a very nice beach, place for a relaxed walk, especially if it's in good company and at dusk. However the highlight is the huge limestone monolith, with all the way from a huge and impudent phallic symbol. However the legend about its origin is quite delicate and interesting Pizzomunno was a young in love with his beloved, victim of jealousy of the mermaids who cannot have it, turned it into a huge stone, leaving him planted at water's edge targeting, for eternity, the mermaids to pass. ... Isn't it beautiful?
