  • With a viewpoint that makes you see the entire Bay of Naples, a marvelous and immense forest where to find coolness in summer and winter snow, a peak reached in 1 hour and a half from where you can admire the Gulf of Naples and Salerno at a glance ... one hand up to Palinuro and the other up in Melbourne when the air is clean , a brand-new cable car: what's missing? Perhaps increased surveillance for diffenderlo by those who do not respect him ...

  • You arrive in monte faito from vico equense, rather long, curves, though not particularly challenging given the little slope and the asphalt road. I don't know if the road is passable, quisisana Castellammare/very nice wooded but dug up years ago when I traveled the last time, then closed for a while ... In spring and summer you can also come by cableway, reopened this year after years of restraint. Always nice to make a stop at the bar in the square, a beautiful landscape! In the area there are restaurant and hotel. Very impressive the road leading to the sanctuary of San michele, forested with some big points for picnic. The road is a little rough but passable. Unfortunately there are signs of neglect and incivility in the Woods, which nevertheless remains gorgeous. And the Church is sadly closed for renovation, and you can't even access the overview area adjacent. There is also a hostel near the Church, and the mountain offers several trails. To go, hoping for works of exploitation of this mountain!

  • We were there on a Sunday wind band to get a breath of fresh air and we visited all what you got the mountain, we had breakfast on the Belvedere Bar and had lunch at the restaurant of the three Pines excellently and at the going down of the Sun we returned downstream.
