  • I'd say it's worth the climb all the stairs; first because you get to the top you can admire the center of Vicenza, second because Villa Valmarana worth the 10 euros paid. The fresco, interiors, antique furniture, everything in its place. The dwarves that you osservono get from the wall, the garden, all this overlooks the Valley of silence. The audio guide costs two euros but is very necessary, I recommend it. Enjoy your visit. Federica

  • The villa is truly a sight and the frescoes by Giambattista and Giandomenico Tiepolo are amazing. The soft colors, shapes, graceful and airy mantles make them unique the frescoed walls. The building and the guest quarters are to be missed. A legend explains why the name of the villa Valmarana ai Nani

  • Nice villa, especially the part of the gardens and the frescoes. Very friendly ticket Lady. While acknowledging the artistic value of the villa it seemed a bit over the top ticket price, considering that other views in the heart of Vicenza have cost us less or were equipped with multiple services (guided tours, information boards and elements of contextualization).

  • Villa Valmarana ai Nani at Vicenza...architectural masterpiece by the great architect Padillo, there is a nice discount for the students and professors, they pay only five euro for the ticket. taking pictures is allowed. You can take a coffee also inside or outside the villa, I really recommend you to visit this place.
  • Excellent overall view of contrasting styles of fresco by father and son Tieopolo. The video guide was informative and interesting. There were an unexpected amount of flying beetles indoors that was slightly annoying.
  • Splendid frescoes by Tiepolo. It's close to Villa Almerico Capra .
  • Beautiful villa and grounds, wedding on the day of our visit so no admittance. Distance between Rotunda and Valmarana is an easy walk. Guessing no interior photos.
  • Great place to hike to from central Vicenza. Wonderful art comparisons of a father and son art duo. Interesting statues of dwarves along the villa walls and accompanying myth about why. Hire a guide or take a tour. Its a nice walk from there on to La Rotonda.
