Palazzo del 600 di proprietà di una banca, con una collezione permanente e spazi in cui si alternano mostre temporanee. Le collezioni stabili sono rappresentate da ceramiche, sculture, dipinti e icone... more »

600 building owned by a Bank, with a permanent collection and exhibit alternating exhibitions. The permanent collections are ceramics, sculptures, paintings and icons: interesting specimens but for the tourist who doesn't have specific interest in the matter or that doesn't have much free time can be a bit heavy. More interesting instead of really valuable architectures and building decorations: because to see them you need to the exhibit hall, the Council to schedule a quick visit aiming more precisely to the observation of the place than to that of the contents. The ' temporary ' quality. I personally enjoyed the one about ' Soviet ' icons of Grisha Bruskin programmed upon until 15 April 2018.

A place to discover especially for its permanent exhibition of Russian icons. Nice highlighted and didactic. Other temporary exhibitions. We saw one on the seduction to the very interesting Greek era.

Un museo affascinante, da visitare assolutamente se si è a Vicenza! Oltre la mostra su una delle collezioni più importanti di Icone russe, le sale dedicate ai paesaggisti veneti con quadri del Canaletto e Guardi e una esposizione di dipinti del Longhi, è esposto il capolavoro di Agostino Fasolato “la caduta degli angeli ribelli”, complesso scultoreo di 60 figure in due metri di marmo. Da ammirare è’ anche il complesso architettonico che ospita le mostre, unico esempio a Vicenza di architettura barocco (1678).

A fascinating Museum, worth visiting if you are in Vicenza! In addition the show on one of the most important collections of Russian icons, the rooms dedicated to the Venetian landscape artists with paintings by Canaletto and Guardi and an exhibition of paintings of Longhi, the masterpiece of Agostino Fahad "the fall of the rebel Angels", complex sculpture of 60 figures in two metres of marble. Seeing is also the architectural complex that hosts exhibitions, only example of Baroque architecture in Vicenza (1678).
