  • Leaving the Piazza dei Signori, crossing Corso Palladio and there goes for Course Fogazzaro. After about two hundred meters you open a square with a fountain installed recently and the important front of the Franciscan church of san Lorenzo of origin. Majestic Interior niches rich in works of art. Pregevole the cloister which houses statues, columns, tombstones and sometimes contemporary art exhibitions, attached photos.

  • The Church of San Lorenzo is a true gem. Built around 1250 by the Franciscans who, except for a period from 1789 and 1837, occupied and occupy today. It's a treasure trove of artworks, paintings and sculptures as well as precious altars. Is located in the downtown area, pretty much just a few steps from the Basilica Palladiana. For a curious tourist don't visit it would be a mistake.

  • The Church is near the Corso Palladio which is the main one which intersects just Course Fogazzaro where is situated the Church. Has recently been built a fountain right in front of the Church, which in summer is the joy of dogs and children because the water comes out of the ground and you can have fun to come over. The Church portal and the façade are the stylistic elements that fascinate me, especially being a lover of the Romanesque style very simple and Basic. Church worth visiting if you are in Vicenza.
