  • The second oldest church in Vicenza after San Giorgio viale Fusinato. Between the immense history I would mention among others to see at the center of the basilica of the fifth century mosaics unearthed in 1906. I go there from time to time and for those who love art invitation to visit because it's really very exciting.

  • Beautiful Romanesque basilica, preceded by a churchyard colonnade and a belfry a bit pending, has a charming interior to 3 naves with remarkable Museum supersiste flooring.

  • I'm really amazed at the low quote on TA that this jewel of Romanesque basilica: only 21 posiziione in things to see! In fact it is rich in history, art, relics, history and maintenance, which I have not encountered elsewhere in Vicenza. Perhaps because outside the walls and not inserted in the Palladian tour, which attracts tourists in the city. I'm not telling the various restructuring made over the centuries, but those wishing to visit the basilica take the time to enjoy your visit, and don't forget to take a ride in the crypt. I happened to visit the basilica, because hotel guest Cristina, in the same street, a few minutes walk away.

  • Basilica which dates back to the fourth and fifth centuries; its present appearance is due essentially to the reconstruction of the Romanesque 12th and 20th century restorations. For over a Millennium to the basilica was the largest Benedictine Abbey in the territory of Vicenza. Definitely worth visiting
