  • The Church despite being rich in works and frescos definitely stands out for the wonderful front door in the nave: a work truly exceptional ... to study and admire! Nothing more: the rest is very dark!

  • Simple Church but it is steeped in history and spirituality. I've seen inside a splendid Chamber music concert.

  • Beautiful example of Renaissance architecture, this church was built in 1519 on the basis of the draft of the famous Sienese architect Baldassare Peruzzi. The Church has a nave but has bas-reliefs of great artistic value and an apse in the Baroque style. The main feature of the Church, however, is its bell tower that deserves some photo shoot, it has a square tower with three superimposed orders. Missing, unfortunately, the Spire that collapsed during the earthquake of 1783. The Bell Tower had a clock whose mechanism has been found on the spot and now housed in the Museum. Under the church there is a wonderful very old crypt, which contains the ossuary Church of San Miguel and the sanctuary you will notice several cracks in the ceiling, through which you can see the Interior of the Church which preserves this lovely Darling. I am very familiar with this church because it is my parish, but believe me I'm not biased; Super lucky to enjoy such a treasure of art and culture. Because you are in my Vibo Valentia, I would suggest a walk in the historical center of this beautiful seaside town, doing some stage among the main monuments such as the Cathedral of San Leoluca or the Castle overlooking the city or the teatro politeama. I remind you that the patron saint of San Michele di Vibo Valentia, is celebrated on 29 September. On this occasion the religious celebrations are complemented by playful activities, shows and festivals to entertain tourists and locals alike.
