  • The structure, which unfortunately would require many restorations houses an interesting archaeological museum that preserves local finds. At the Museum are carried out guided pearls schools and workshops for children. Children learn the history and life of the first men having fun, guided by an expert really passionate. Prehistoric cave paintings ' do ' create objects, take part in excavations in miniature but made with the real methodology followed by archaeologists. I took my 7 year old niece: enthusiastic did not want to miss a lab while we were on vacation. There is also the puppet shows of the great maestro tankman Gionata Ferguson who saved the ancient puppets of the pine forest that all us kids remind beachgoers in the 60 with affection.

  • This is one of the few museums in Viareggio, so don't visit it simply cannot: a very nice Museum presented is also quite musical instruments, apart from historical perspective. The only negative-the language barrier, because everything is presented in Italian.

  • my five stars are devoted to "Imperial Venus", he had built his hut, in memory of the times unfortunately passed. from what I've read and seen in the book (the sanctuary of Venus), the villa was completely different from what it looks like today, with very few things remain. Unfortunately due to the transformations suffered after the death of Pauline borghese and later his sister Caroline murat, the villa has gone from being a neo-classical gem to a villa overloaded with bad taste to be permanently ruined, when was designed for school use. I hope that one day the home of princess Pauline can return to the original appearance and IE on their facades as from the design of the interiors refurbished and redecorated in lazzarini and with missing parts, with the hope that it will become exclusively a villa Museum with guided tours.
