La Lecciona, Viareggio

(4.1/5 based on 70 reviews on the web)
Surrounded by blue sea and the mountains, La Lecciona remains one of the few Italian beaches still preserved in its natural state. It draws visitors with its dunes covered with restored wetlands, marshes, and pine forests. Pass through a grove to get to this last vestige of the Versilia coast. A campsite located a few hundred meters away from the beach is the only human touch visible in the area. Be careful in the water, since the bare-bones site has no lifeguards or any other type of service available nearby. • This beach hidden from the pine forest of the dock can be reached only on foot after long walks and for this reason it is uncrowded and very attractive for those seeking solitude. It is halfway between torre del lago and viareggio and is frequented by gay movements, who are very respectful of another's presence. say, on the guides, which is one of the few beaches where you can practice Nudism and knowledge between people of the same sex. I like it as it is and doesn't shock me for this. definitely worth visiting

  • The beach is located between Torre del Lago and Viareggio, and is the last resort of Versilia remained free. From an environmental perspective is one of the few stretches of sandy coastline of Tuscany were in their natural state, with characteristic dunes covered with vegetation and woody debris brought by floods of the Serchio. I read that it is considered to be a place for gays. I don't know if it's true, and I don't care. I went with my husband a few days ago, so in October, and there were few people around. A nice walk among trees and nature and then the beach, a corner of paradise. To see

  • Stopped here for a couple of hours on the road to the airport of Bergamo. Give money for paid was sorry and we will be happy to meet with the sea on the beach free of charge. The sand is quite messy, but the sea everywhere the same. So recommend thrifty travelers.
