  • We were passing from the Citadel of the Carnival, it is fascinating to know that there is a place so great to make Carnival floats that actually turn out true works of art, but we could peek one wagon as it was feast and other hangars were closed, come back!

  • What about?! Here back to my childhood. You learn the skill and hard work of the tankman. The day before the first course you can admire the floats still to be finalised and that makes my heart flutter. Near the entrance you can find a small shop where the ladies explain and show how to make a papier-mâché objects and object Recommend a visit before seeing the floats parading because so you realize the work that is behind everything.

  • Beautiful modern structure is the ' House of Carnival, where the grandiose buildings of papier-mâché floats are built that characterize our Carnival. I encourage everyone to see it. Inside the Citadel there is the Museum of Carnival and a nice Museum of modern art. There is also a good Carnival themed restaurant, quaint where you eat well. For lunch make meal set menu for 10 euros. In summer the citadel hosts major cultural events and for Carnival there are dinners and parties. When the hangars are open, especially the month before Carnival carts can be seen in the preview and the masters at work. Periodically organizes activities or for children and courses in paper mache. A flaw: the Museum has a very limited opening hours and often closed. Near the motorway exit is not near the Center. There are parking places for cars. When there are events is best to go early to park without problems.
