  • Beautiful well marked between vineyards, olive groves, farms and houses in Tuscan style. Path of 3 hours or so is well marked. Highly recommended even to return a swim at the baths of Gambassi.!!

  • I walked the via francigena from viterbo to Rome in 5 days. amazing experience, very personal. route clearly signposted, Miss dining at some stages but the francigena is enriched with pilgrims and hospitality. Viterbo, vetralla, sutri, campagnano, distorted and finally Rome. These are my stages. to me recommended it to everyone, of all ages. I am leaning to an association called "Mediterraid" to get assistance and coordination since I left alone. great choice! absolutely wonderful adventure among the beauties of our country!

  • I walked the via Francigena in the senese Siena-Buonconvento. The area is objectively great, Tuscany "for children", for better or for worse ... Of course it crosses an area alive, so it's not all in the fields but also through residential areas, which have very little quaint ... The path is not challenging in terms of elevation, careful to follow it in the summer months taking into account which is quite exposed to the Sun and then at times downright glowing! The signs good, I still recommend to have prior to departure and a map of a geolocation app to remove some doubts at some crossings both to understand the distances.
