  • Despite being a little out of the way and anything but well marked this museum worth a visit for the material on display. If you are lucky enough that I got to have the guy on reception for a definitive Bellamy explanation of what is being put on display, then you can really enjoy a chapter in the history of mankind that definitely is not well known (if not for nothing known!) Organic artifacts preserved fine, amazing Bill supplies and especially amber!!! How many of you who read did you know that in Sydney there was a flourishing trade in this precious (at least for the time) resin coming from the Baltic Sea taking into account that we are talking about seven or eight centuries before Christ? To be honest, I completely ignored these facts ... every day is useful for learning! I repeat: well worth a visit sure to not regret this!

  • In a truly delicious exposes, with philological rigor and documentation, in the bright and spacious showcases exhibits of great interest and beauty which allow visitors to immerse themselves in the daily life of the first inhabitants of the area. Truly exceptional young caretaker who, by archaeologist in love of his subject what is, you're not limited to detach the tickets but introduced us with wisdom and great detail inducted into the Villanova culture.

  • Set in a charming building and well cared for. Great care with regard to exposure of the exhibits as well as comprehensive and clear. Excellent also the staff care towards visitors. Must for anyone who makes a nice little stroll in Romagna, not only the middle ages with the Malatesta family (in nearby Rock) but also the beginning of Etruscan civilization (the villanovians of course).
