  • Pre-Etruscan villanovan civilization Museum with artifacts found in the necropolis at Verucchio. Well structured, apart from some areas with poor light or soft lighting. Available explanations in several languages for each window or almost! Since we were the only visitors (!) the person at the ticket office-reception made as a guide showing great skill and passion! Not to be missed with the Malatesta Fortress (7.5 euros per person adult)

  • A well-groomed and well-organized exhibition, thematically decorated. Friendly staff and expert presentation by an English-speaking employee (archaeologist), which, however, is not always present.

  • one of the most interesting museums I've visited, there is a unique experience to rekindle the pride on the history of our past, thousands of incredible finds, amber brooches, textiles, basketry, and food, perfectly preserved, dating from the 9th to 6th century BC.

  • Deserves it! If you want to deepen your knowledge about the Villanovians you don't have to do anything but go there.

  • Set in a charming building and well cared for. Great care with regard to exposure of the exhibits as well as comprehensive and clear. Excellent also the staff care towards visitors. Must for anyone who makes a nice little stroll in Romagna, not only the middle ages with the Malatesta family (in nearby Rock) but also the beginning of Etruscan civilization (the villanovians of course).

  • Small museum, well organized, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Among the very few to take care of the villanovan culture.

  • Impressive display of the artifacts of a civilization that, even without writing, it is very important for the history of the italic peoples
