  • Just a few steps up the hill and you have a beautiful view to the mountains around you and the little village Verres.

  • Wonderful building! Very carefully restored. I am amazed about the architectural skills of the builders-every fortifying detail is well done and with thought! Unfortunately in every castle in the region there is only tour guides in italian, which is a strange decision..
  • Carefully restored castle, done in way that makes it useful for current events, perhaps less useful from a strictly historic perspective.
  • Nice. For little price the visit and the 30 min tour. I found it really nice. There is nothing (stuff) inside, but still the structure is wonderful.
  • Originally a military outpost then abandouned and restored. Every stone tells a story, traps, walls, loopholes, battlements. Absolutely fascinating. The walk up to the Castle is demanding but it's an important part of the visit. It helps you understand how impregnable the Castle was. Only guided tours.
  • An amazing historical monument, this castle is a fortress built for defence. Guides will tell you its fascinating story, walking its great halls. There is a small parking at the entrance, and a little path to walk uo to the main door. A nice restaurant can be found close by the parking lot.
