  • One of the oldest in Verona the Chiesa di San Giovanni in Valle lies on an early Christian Cemetery and guards, seems, in the two sarcophagi found the relics of Saints Simon and Jude Thaddeus. The construction is simple, beautiful enough in Tuff with a façade the Interior with red marble columns and Corinthian capitals, a fine octagonal baptistery. Striking the walk to reach it.

  • Just a little off, but still not far from the Roman theater, is certainly worth seeing: beautiful both outside and inside.

  • The Church of s. Giovanni in Valle lies on the other side of the river Adige, where tourists practically do not reach. The Church was built in the 12 century in the Romanesque style and want to pay tribute to the perfectly preserved. And no wonder-it was restored after the second world war. The existing Church, and even in the crypt of the preserved Roman sarcophagi and laying of 8 century the Church, which was destroyed during the earthquake.

  • It's a nice place, little known. A place to visit is the fontana del ferro, a hundred meters further on.
