  • Lovely stroll around the market stalls and maybe pop into one of the many bars/restaurants for refreshment. Look up and admire the architecture all around you!

  • Beautiful square with a daily market. We visited in March which was perfect...quiet and decent weather too! Not sure I'd fancy seeing it in the height of summer!!
  • Nice piazza with many kiosks to explore! However, this was one of the busiest places I have even been to in Italy! We were shoulder to shoulder with others. We still enjoyed their many good options and all Christmas stuff and other things they were selling.
  • A beautiful place to shop around for souvenir. It's cheaper here than most of the places in Verona. Also, the market is beautiful and it is only a few steps from the Juliette's house.
  • The oldest city square in Verona. Back in Roman times it was a vital social, economic, and political centre. Today’s souvenir shops were predated by the small markets of fruits and vegetables giving the square its name. The fountain in the square centre is a statue of Madonna Verona. It represents a symbolic personification of the city itself.
  • Lovely square with wonderful balconies, a fountain and a permanent touristic market. Great place to sit and enjoy.
