  • Very well
  • Intimate and small church located a stone's throw from piazza erbe, here you will find a Foucault pendulum to the right of the main altar and one of the many black Madonnas.

  • Located very close to the Porta Borsari, this small Church traces its origins to the 10th century. After the fire that devastated Verona in 1172, which affected her deeply, it was rebuilt in the Romanesque style, although it suffered several reforms during the Baroque and modern times. In two of them, rush in 1902 and 1905, was the discovered part of the Romanesque structure. On the outside is a grave of marble with a cross and a triptych on the bottom; inside is highlight the bas-relief of the Virgin with child, the teacher Pulia. Magnificent Renaissance door, work of Gerolamo Giolfino, crowned by statues of San Juan Evangelista, San Pedro and San Juan Bautista. Also of great interest the fresco of Nicola Giolfino representing St. John on the island of Patmos. The Church can be visited during religious ceremonies. The entrance is free.
