  • This small church is situated in the southern part of town, away from the tourist trails. Holy Trinity Church was built in the 11st century, it survived until our days. Interesting frescoes, curious to see.

  • Located just a short distance from Piazza Cittadella, and a few hundred metres from Piazza Bra and the Arena, this is a splendid Romanesque church built around 1077 vallombrosan monks. Over the centuries it has undergone many changes and nowadays one can identify as being part of the original nucleus of the Northern Apse, the sanctuary, the atrium and the Bell Tower dating from 1130 (whose basic masonry fragments of gravestones and Roman sculptures). The façade, in Romanesque veronese with rows of alternating brick and tufa, leads to a large Atrium, which is an extension of the original church. Inside one long rectangular Hall, with presbytery of three steps, one step further elevated concluded by semicircular apse and two side chapels flanked the sanctuary to form the transept. Opposite the façade a vestibule Colonnade divided into six bays, which overlaps the lodge of "Converted", so called because, in 1536, the uninhabited monastery of the Holy Trinity was turned into dangerous women "Conservatory" but repent, calls the "Converted".

  • The Church of the Holy Trinity for some mysterious reason is off the tourist circuit yet, I can tell by veronese, is a gem. It has a beautiful front porch which forms a kind of cloister and inside there are truly fascinating frescoes. The exterior is made of white stone and brick, typical of Verona Romanesque.
