  • We decided to visit the cave with the route of an hour and I think it's still a nice path. You can get lost between these walls rich of stalactites and stalagmites ... a magical atmosphere and a nice experience to do. The guides are all freshly prepared and young and he does that so cold ... just a jacket! Only con groups between delays and misunderstandings have created a bit of scompiglio...ma the place truly deserves!

  • As the title says the path inside the cave is very impressive. Walk along the path through those halls and those passages leave really speechless. A true spectacle of nature. Recommended visit

  • We took the tour from 3:00 and we had a very nice and engaging guide (Cristian) that I've taken to see the pit and various galleries! Unique in their kind! Hard to get to but well worth it!

  • The Grotto del Vento is a short cave system with unique causation (trapped rain/melt water forcing its way out). It has stalactite and stalagmite formations, pools, an amazing 50 metre vertical cavern (an old water-fall within the mountain) and interesting old bones of a bear (~20000 yr old). On first arriving, it was a surprise to find that the grotto was a fee-requiring concern, however, the interest of the cave, the need for a guide, and the need to protect the cave more than justified the Euro 9.
  • My husband, son and I went a few years ago. We loved it. Take the 3 hour tour.
  • Amazing Cave experience. Don't forget to taste the water from the public fountain on the other side of the car park
  • Beautiful guided walk inside one of the most fascinating caves of our country! The Garfagnana is a land rich in natural treasures. Its forests and Mountains surround us as soon as we arrive and their sight accompanies us everywhere. Other treasures are hidden in the top of a mountain or maybe even inside, as the wind Grotto, a beautiful cave system that develops in the Pania Secca where has created some tourist routes. The Grotto you get from Gallicano, through a mountain road that passes by the village of Fornovalasco. The signs are frequent and clearly visible. However, the road is narrow and winding and if you are not accustomed to mountain roads (and I don't have it!) is a stressful drive to the cave! Parking charge: 3 euros for 4 hours to a car, any remaining time can be used in other car parks in the municipality of Vergemoli. There is also a fountain of fresh water, providential, saw the heat outside. There are three routes to visit the cave: from 1, 2 or 3 hours, always accompanied by a guide. Each guided tour starts at preset times, and there are guides who speak English, German and Italian, of course. Normally there is no need to book, but it's good to inquire about schedules and large groups in high season and holidays.

  • I dock amused; Climbing the peaks covered with grass, similar to velvet. I sampled the crisp air and full of oxygen. The ravines have proved easier than: IMAGINED. Bathing in the crystal clear water, a pleasure Tiseva 🇨🇮 ITALY cantucci unsuspected found.
