  • Do not open during the day and at night again visited. 3 cross-shaped nave style church with elegant blue design is the ceiling of the nave. On left and right side nave has four chapels. Altar altar silver 4 statues behind the small round mosaics. At the top of the ceiling frescoes had been painted. Beginning of the masses, and back to the entrance. Strong impression of the huge Christ the Redeemer Chapel right hand red with background.

  • The Cathedral, albeit rebuilt in the sixteenth century and subjected to further stylistic changes in ' 700, boasts a 12th-century Bell Tower, while inside a beautiful crucifix Ottonian silver foil of the 11th century, a chapel Baroque-looking dedicated to blessed Amadeus IX of Savoy, and where they are buried other illustrious figures of the House of Savoy. Inside, despite the presence of numerous chapels stylistic beauty does not reach maybe the thickness of the basilica of St. Andrea, but is certainly a valuable and historic example three attractions (which is the small but interesting Museum of Honey a worthwhile visit). Curiosity: the Cathedral, which stands in the place of burial of Saint Eusebius (city's first bishop and Patron Saint of Piedmont), has become a minor basilica in 1834 (under the papacy of Gregory XVI) and is a national monument in 1940.

  • IMPRESSIVE Really immense and worthy of a capital as Vercelli. On the external façade you notice the huge statues of the 12 Apostles. The belfry is older than the building of the Cathedral. Not far away there is the Archbishopric, and if it's the right day, go see the Vercelli Book and various treasures of the Cathedral.
