  • Looking at this church and all around the city you can see how it has risen after the terrible earthquake that this site and others have had to live. Spectacular and town full of history and memories. As the same Cathedral, which has been restored with great care. You can see how the restoration would distinguish the original parts of the building from the new ones, added in the reconstruction.

  • Thank goodness we did an alternative route and were drawn to this church. We didn't know we were in Venzone and the surprise was rewarded by this fascinating Church. The Church thanks to the finds unearthed is traced already in the 6th century. Then expand in 1200. The Cathedral was completely destroyed by the earthquake of 1976 and was rebuilt between 1988 and 1995, relocating the original stones. Highly recommended a visit.

  • majestic and beautiful from the outside, the dome was reconstructed as closely as possible (you can see in some stones still engraved numbers for reuse). inside but you can feel the pain caused by the earthquake.
