  • A lovely quiet place, probabably most enjoyable in the spring. Of course I understand a lot is dry in June and parking, as often in Liguria, is difficult. So do come early. What I don't understand is ...  more »
  • We visited here several years ago and found it a delightful location to enjoy the superb Mediterranean gardens, even a roman road. Lots of walking.  more »
  • We got the train to Ventimiglia from where we were staying in Villefranche ; the markets were great fun- both food and more touristy things and it was still going strong at 2pm. we'd missed the bus to...  more »

  • Superb selection of tropical and Mediterranean plants in a breathtakingly beautiful location. Note however that this place is difficult to reach on public transport and any disabled access needs to be booked in advance, otherwise wholly unsuitable for less abled visitors due to the steep gradients and steps.
  • Large gardens with plants from all over the world. Seemed a bit run down and not cared for. Stagnant water in water features and in need of repair.
  • A great sprawling Mediterranean garden with many examples of agaves, succulents, cacti and a large collection of brugsmansias
  • 'Biutifully' wild. One of the last authentic Ligurian places on this of the coast.
  • Very nice garden with a lot of different plants.
