  • You can't go to Venosa and not go to the Trinity, alongside the Church "unfinished" which testifies to the power of place in the age of the Normans. Welcome the visitor two large marble Lions right on target. Legend has it that there is a treasure right where the Lions pose their gaze. To date has not yet been found

  • It goes without saying that all the archaeological complex is beautiful and well kept, I would like to stress that the visit was very interesting thanks to an employee of the archaeological Superintendence of Basilicata, which in an absolutely free, being on a Sunday and not on duty, made as a guide. A comprehensive visit culturally but also a lot of passionate. If all State dipenti were like this surveyor the Italy would be a paradise. This unfortunately has not happened to the Archaeological Park adjacent to the Trinity. Instead, they handed them at the entrance, a paper ticket, albeit in legend two attendants at the dig.

  • What about the Chiesa della SS.ma Trinità, with the apse "windowed", the "unfinished", i.e. the new Church ever completed, the Archaeological Park with Roman ruins? That is a beauty not to miss, nestled in the green of the venosiana plain. To visit with guide.
