Santa Maria dei Miracoli, Venice
Categories: Sacred & Religious Sites, Churches, Tourist Spots
Known as the marble church, Santa Maria dei Miracoli sits by an attractive canal. Because of this early Renaissance church's beauty, weddings are often held here, with couples arriving by gondola on the canal. The interior is decorated with white, pink, and gray designs, all in marble. When you want to rest, head to the outside benches, or to the nearby secondhand bookstore. Très belle église, tant d'extérieur, avec ses murs recouverts de marbre, qu'à l'intérieur, avec un plafond magnifique. Prix d'entrée un peu cher (3€)Beautiful church, both from the outside, with its marble walls, inside, with a beautiful ceiling. A bit expensive admission price (€3)show original
I loved this little church. It's got an amazing history and it's situated in such a beautiful setting. It's beautiful inside and out and definitely worth a visit!
Mały kościół, jedna nawa, sufit zdobiony, ale wysoko, więc słabo to widać. Wejście płatne chyba 4 euro, tak więc nie wartoThe small church, one nave, a ceiling decorated, but high, so poorly it shows. Entrance fee probably 4 euros, so not worth itshow original
Marble inside and out. Take a look at the back of the church on the outside and notice the windows. They are not centered, the architect was a sculpture and did not do the math correctly.

Stunning. Stands out as a special little part of venice worth checking out.
Nothing like I've ever seen before. Stunning marble structure.
Santa Maria dei Miracoli is a church in the sestiere of Cannaregio, in Venice, Italy. Also known as the "marble church", it is one of the best examples of the early Venetian Renaissance including colored marble, a false colonnade on the exterior walls (pilasters), and a semicircular pediment.
