Ponte di Rialto, Venice
(3.6/5 based on 8,500+ reviews on the web)
Overlook the Grand Canal from one of Venice's most important landmarks, Ponte di Rialto. Anchoring the historic city center, the iconic bridge is an example of 16th-century architecture, with two steep ramps meeting to form an uncharacteristically high arch of 7.5 m (25 ft). Take a traditional gondola tour of the canal to admire the historic structure from the water. You also can stand in the archways of Venice's oldest canal bridge. • Rialto bridge is just famous as it is old but rebuild. From the bridge you can have good view for a snap which covers grand canal. You will find market inside the bridge (towards end)
  • Probably the most famous bridge in Venice. Close to Venice famous fish market. Nice view of Grand Canal and lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
  • It is the most famous bridge in Venice. At night the view is fantastic. It also has good shops.
  • This is a nice bridge, but it's popularity amongst tourists makes it difficult to enjoy to the fullest, in terms of architectural style. Nevertheless, great views over the canal are offered.
  • Good view of the grand canal. Only half of the bridge was accessible when I visited due to restoration works. So open half very busy
