We lived in the annexe, which is attached to the main Palace, but neither view nor the quality of the rooms does not hurt. Upon arrival we were greeted by a pleasant compliment-a couple of glasses of sparkling wine and juice for kids. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony of the Palazzo and admiring the Great Channel with his busy life. The rooms are very quiet, cozy-and this despite the fact that the main transport artery of the city pulsing right under the window. A stone's throw from Palazzo-bridge Academy, the Accademia Gallery and Conservatory. Parking Venice train station are approximately 30 minutes on foot. The hotel is not easy to find, if you get there on foot rather than on the water. It is hidden behind a narrow dark arch, entrance to which starts from the square in front of the Conservatory. But with hotel perfectly visible and all taxi drivers know how to take tourists there. Despite the fact that the ancient Palazzo, the wi-fi worked perfectly everywhere and was free. Narrow and steep stairs can be a problem for older people.

What beauty Palace either outside view with a façade made of window to the many details and subtleties, that inside. Once inside it is immersed in the magic of Venice. We'd like to be there for a party in the grand tradition of the city.

Another example of Venetian Gothic architecture, its floral style, the Palace was built in the mid-15th century. It stands out among the many pink palaces facing facades of the Grand Canal. Say, in the Palace of Emperor Pavel I visited. Unfortunately, they can be seen only by the ...

  • I was here for a party. On two levels. On the ground floor with landing-place, very nice but the rooms of the first floor are breathtaking! Candle chandeliers and frescoed rooms. Super!!!

Where to stay in Venice

Save money and avoid tourist crowds by booking your accommodation outside the historical center of Venice. Central Venice is full of picturesque canals and narrow lanes, but it is also extremely noisy and hectic throughout the day and late into the night. You can explore the ancient city's charms at your own pace by staying at a comfortable B&B or small hotel located in the city's residential suburbs. To stay close to the finest beaches and restaurants, check into a hotel on the island of Lido, the city's famous seaside resort.
