  • The premises are beautiful and functional. Every corner is well thought out. The collections are interesting, especially the paintings. The shop and cafeteria are also friendly.

  • Every stop in Venice should also include a visit to the Querini Stampalia Foundation, one of the city's most interesting museums and managed. Not only House Museum of the Querini family with an extraordinary art gallery, but also space for temporary exhibitions always interesting. Beautiful restoration of Carlo Scarpa on the ground floor and the garden and interesting intervention by Mario Botta to whom we owe the bookshop, cafeteria and new entrance. Don't make the mistake of buying the ticket € 8 Shoe Area only, but be the ticket for € 10 including full guided tour of the Palace. Every day from 10 to 18 except Mondays. I also recommend a visit on the website of the Foundation for ongoing or planned events calendar. The Palace is "hidden" behind the Church of Santa Maria Formosa.
