  • It didn't cost much and was worth the little bit we paid. This museum has a couple very good short films about Leonardo's life and all the things that he was involved in and accomplished. We watched 2...  more »
  • Museum inside the Church of St. Barnabas, outlines the various machines designed by Leonardo. Would def recommend. PS. outside son filmed some scenes of the film "Indiana Jones and the last crusade."

  • Leonardo da Vinci's Museum is a little determination to grow into, but there are replicas or models of genius inventions. My children liked it much more than top attractions of Venice.

  • We stumbled upon this museum and I'm glad we did. It has a a lot of replica da Vinci inventions, and you're allowed to use them to see just how how they work. Also, each exhibit has an explanation of the purpose of the invention and it's present-day analogous use. The museum also has replicas of some of his famous paintings such as the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper as well as some of his writings and sketches. Although there are no original works, for 8 euros a person it's an hour well worth it for the insight gained into the mind of a genius.
  • We went there quite randomly, but we were glad we had done it that way. The museum is amazing with lots of replicas of Leonardo's inventions you can play with. It's amazing how many of Leonardo's inventions are still in the use today and the best thing about it is that by visiting this museum you'll be able to get into the mind of the genius and you'll be able to recognize his reasonings for those inventions.
  • Full of replicas of da Vinci's machines. Quite fascinating. You can interact with them and see how they work.
