Well structured, not too crowded, very suggestive environments. Beautiful collections, from prehistoric fossils to stuffed animals. Managed and maintained to perfection. Not to be missed!

We had this on our museum pass and it was the only place we didn't get time to go in, but from the water on the outside it is a very beautiful building and i regretted not making time for it  more »

We went with our 7 year old son. The staff at the entrance is welcoming and smiling. The visit starts with the dinosaur skeleton room, continues by the fossils then we go to the historical part with the evolution of the Museum of natural history since the cabinets of curiosities of the seventeenth and eighteenth through naturalistic collections and museums, educational and multimedia present. We end up with different rooms on the world alive, especially animal and related behaviors: travel, modes of nutrition, etc. Lots of interactivity and mini workshops. We spent two hours taking our time. It is recommended (and the building is beautiful and the good neighborhood)

  • Nice museum.
  • Content path but interesting Museum houses a newly renovated section on fossils from Africa. More outdated section on wildlife, while it is absolutely disappointing the Hall Aquarium. Path of 30-60 minutes, remains a good diversion for children.

  • Not bad to find it in Venice but more for small children. Let's say it was part of our 11 museums pass. Especially museums c an opportunity to find a bathroom free of charge. Laughing out loud

Where to stay in Venice

Save money and avoid tourist crowds by booking your accommodation outside the historical center of Venice. Central Venice is full of picturesque canals and narrow lanes, but it is also extremely noisy and hectic throughout the day and late into the night. You can explore the ancient city's charms at your own pace by staying at a comfortable B&B or small hotel located in the city's residential suburbs. To stay close to the finest beaches and restaurants, check into a hotel on the island of Lido, the city's famous seaside resort.
