  • Small exhibition inside an old chapel with free entry. Not a great deal of interest unless you really like old violins. Worth a peak if you happen to be passing, but only real enthusiasts would make there way here specifically to see it.
  • The Museo della Musica is located in San Maurizio church, about halfway between the Accademia bridge and Piazza San Marco. It's a pleasant detour, either to get out of the rain or away from the crowds, and admission is free. There is an interesting collection of baroque stringed instruments, and music of the period also plays in the background creating a conducive atmosphere.
  • Lots musical instruments that are 2/3/400 years old including this harpsichord piano. Loads of violins and displays of how they were made and also the tools that were used. An old workshop has been reconstructed but you can only view it behind a glass door
  • A small, interesting exhibit. Entry is free, which makes it a perfect quick experience if you have an hour to spare in San Marco.
  • This is a free entry museum with very nice artifacts in exhibition. Is an old church, so the mer building is an indulgence. There's a shop inside also.
