  • We had a fall in the Philippine pavilion that ruined our trip. It is an installation with three gigantic light boxes, a set of mirrors that simulate infinity. You had to get on, so you lost your sense of space. The rest was dark, with black edges. A bad step and you end up on the ground with a height of between 50 and 60 cm.

  • I visited the biennial with my daughter, and I must say that we were not thrilled. Many of the works I found ridiculous to say the least. I wonder how certain choices are made. I don't pretend to be a great expert, but certainly this exhibition didn't give me much. Of the biennial I only enjoyed the location, because Venice is unique. Another negative note the toilets. Those inside the gardens were dirty, there's no soap dispenser, it sucks. At 5:45 p.m., they started driving people away from the pavilions. Practically the closing time of 6 pm is "anticipated" by 15 minutes.... After spending a total of .25 on the entrance I would have gladly visited another pavilion, 10 minutes would have sown.

  • I share Fabiano's review that preceded me. We felt cheated and offended by so littleness, an insult to our intelligence. We save only the stand of the Philippines, that of the Saudi Orange and with a little effort that of Luxembourg (Arsenale - Gardens). Too little.

  • So so fun, you could spend an entire day here if you're an art nerd. Great diversity of contemporary artists from around the world. Good mix of traditional visual arts (painting, photography) and mixed media art, including videos (with places to sit and watch), audio, flashing lights, holograms, and moving pieces within the artwork. You definitely won't be disappointed to spend even a couple hours here, and it's welcoming and inspiring whether you're an art nerd or just heard of the Biennale and wanted to go.
  • A port. One of the greatest interdisciplinary showcases of modern art. A must for every set of curious eyes and artist minds. I recommend you not walk it all in one day, take yourself a couple so you can take it all in, i imagine it to be rather overwhelming otherwise.
  • The Biennale is the most important art exhibition that occurs every 2 years. This year, it has been phenomenally curated, exhibiting thought provoking work made at the hands of some of the best up and coming artists the world has to offer. Ticket covers entrance for both the Arsenale and the Giardini. It is closed on Mondays and busiest on Saturdays and in the afternoon, so I would suggest visiting during the week as soon as it opens to avoid the crowds. There is a lot to see here, so if you are a thorough observer I would suggest dedicating a day for this outing.
  • If you are in Venice, you should not skip this place even if you are not an artist or don't understand art. It is a place to go. It lasts until November. It is closed on Monday and at least 2 days are needed to explore it. I highly recommend this place.
  • Don't miss the opportunity to attend and don't put it off any longer. If you have ever wanted to make the trip you should do so today. Amazing and thought provoking
