  • A good find getting lost in the alleys of Venice and find themselves as if by magic in a shop to browse and dream of discovering a thousand masks from true flavor, accompanied by gentleness, cheerfulness and a really special from Barbara who knew how to give us anecdotes and curiosities that made us love it even more the charm of the ancient Venetian art. One to know, so worth it!!!

  • My first time in Venice with my partner, enchanted by this beautiful shop where known already for that product quality is completely different from the myriad forms I've seen en route to Saint Mark's square, the saleswoman "Barbara" was in addition to being a professional, explaining that their product will appeal to a higher target which cinema etc , manages to conquer my enthusiasm with a customer care that I can define eccelsa, doing try although aware that I never purchased a mask of 200 euros is managing to involve as well my partner into a cute little Theatre (where in such a context I think it was the Pearl in its ability to make me move to a possible purchase) where we tried masks really beautiful but also high cost. I didn't need to buy anything but I rewarded the enthusiasm and more than excelled Customer Relations by barbara buying two small masks as souvenirs. very good also the contact with the laboratory that immerses you in the preparation of the product at the point of sale. It exudes a fairytale-like climate with these myriads of feathers is colors. extremely pleased. "as I promised the CASANOVA

  • We found this fantastic shop while wandering around Venezia on our way to somewhere else and we are so glad to have come across it. Seemingly everywhere you look, there are cheap, Chinese rip offs and...  more »

  • Hand-made Venetian masks! One of the few authentic shops left in Venice. This place is worth stopping into, whether to buy a mask or to just gaze at all the incredible masks. The staff is extremely warm and welcoming to tourists unlike many other Venetians . They were willing to explain the history behind Venice's Carnival/Festival. I'm glad I found this gem.
  • Great place for Venetian masks for reasonable prices. The skull masks and animal masks are my favorites.
  • This place has quality hand made masks that you would want to purchase when you're here in Venice. If you want to get a decent mask, expect to pay about 50euros or more. They also give tax refund if you spend over certain amounts, so make sure to ask and have your passport number ready! I normally don't take my passport around, but another option is to take a photo of the passport instead. Unfortunately, no public bathroom here! I've attached a map of where the store is located. Venice is literally like a maze!
  • We were in search of some unique masks to bring home and on the way to dinner passed this store and gasped at the shop window because the shop window had some of the most unique masks we'd seen -- animal faces that we hadn't seen anywhere else -- a huge elephant, a dragon, a pig, rooster, etc. It was awesome. We prayed it would be open on the way back--luckily it was open until 11. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and not snotty at all as other shopkeepers can be in Venice. He invited us to try on any mask we wanted to and we proceeded to try on about 100! He has the largest variety we've ever seen and there were some molds of works in progress on the back tables. We hadn't brought our camera and that's one of our biggest regrets. He apologized for his "poor English" but he spoke very well and gave us some frank advice when we couldn't decide on the best selections. We bought an awesome gold 'fire/flame' mask for our 4 year old son that he loves, a freaky animal/buffalo head for my husband, and a doll/cabaret dancer type one for our daughter. We had so much fun laughing and screaming at the masks and it was a great ending to our 2 week trip throughout the Mediterranean. He even gave us a free poster that costs 10 euros, and gladly filled out the Tax Refund form. Can't want to return soon.
  • Fabulous masks.
