  • I have sat in more welcoming train waiting rooms. Awful bar staff in ill fitting suits, they definitely need some training in customer service. We had two drinks costing over 50 euros! It isn't about ...  more »
  • Nice food and great service if a little 'stiff' Great place to watch the world go buy Expensive but you pay for what you get
  • It seemed a great idea prove the carpaccio and bellini drink where were invented by owner Giuseppe Cipriani in the 40/50 years. In addition to the bad mood of the waiters, pay € 100.00 (I said 100 euros!) for a cheap plate of carpaccio and two drinks seem a great absurdity.

  • This place was a good bar pretty nice and upscale, bar tenders spoke English but the prices were high but that's what you get for drinking in San Marcos square
  • If you're looking for the latest shiniest trendy place then this might not be the place for you. It's old school glamour with a hint of shabby chic and it doesn't carry the title of "legendary" lightly. To understand it best don't just turn up to look around or for one Bellini. Set aside time, take a book or, my favourite, do some writing, have a couple of drinks, a spot of lunch and enjoy the spectacle of unobtrusive attention followed by silver service with your food. Oh and try the martini, it's pretty close to perfect.
  • You've got to laugh at all the yanks waddling up in flip flops and baseball caps leaving negative reviews for not getting in. How ridiculous - Harry's has a dress code, like a million other places. Realise this is a classy place, put some trousers on, be prepared to spend a little, and it's magical. Service is probably the best I've had anywhere in the world, the cocktails are fantastic, and the food is stunningly good. The vibe and decor were amazing - literally like going going back in time. Ignore the bad reviews - be glad these guys couldn't get in - they would have spoilt it. Sounds snobby, but I'm just a student and had a great time by understanding what it's about - order a couple of Bellinis and soak in the atmosphere. Well worth it.
  • The history of Harry's Bar is wonderful, and obviously this is where the Bellini was invented, also, and unknown by most Harry also invented carpaccio .....however, it's really expensive, 20 euros for a small and average Bellini, nothing sexy In The presentación, full of tourists as one would exoect, my advice, go there, smell The history, order a coffee and say you've been ;)
  • I don't get the bad reviews. Yeah it's insanely expensive. Spent 200 euros on 3 person lunch. Food was very good. Service was impeccable. Had to zip back to my hotel to put on long pants
