  • Just before reaching site by Peggy, il palazzetto is the pretty container of miscellaneous works (paintings, porcelain, ivories, objects and furnishings) – well maintained, see tapestries, chandeliers and painted wooden ceilings of the time ' host '; It is suitable for the display of particular objects (eg. a litter), carved chests, paintings of various ages and backgrounds – the visit is quiet and relaxing in a muffled atmosphere – a beautiful spiral staircase worth special mention of Tomaso Buzzi: elegant and refined, that alone is worth the visit – admission € 10.00

  • 11/5/2016. In the afternoon I visited the Gallery, after several years since your last visit. Fortunately, thanks to peak time (early afternoon) and bad weather, I haven't had a lot of company along the halls of the Palace and not pout so enjoy in peace the exhibits. The emotion was big, especially along the Primitive Hall, with extraordinary "Majesty" by Gaddo Gaddi and master of Badia a Isola, and the Hall of Polyptychs, col polyptych by Lorenzo di Niccolò di Martino and the Madonna of humility of Sassetta. No doubt about it: the art gives meaning to life! On the second floor (connects even an elegant spiral staircase of Tommaso Buzzi), gave me moments of intense emotions the temporary exhibition "Capolavori ritrovati collection of Vittorio Cini", with a "Madonna and child enthroned with Angels" by Stefano di Sant'Agnese (sec. XIV), a moving "Madonna and child" by Giovanni Mansueti, a "San Giorgio" Titian and many, many other works a more charming than the other, many on display for the first time. Significant section of the "Venetian painters"; with a strong impact the great "Madonna and child with Saints John the Baptist and Francis" by Bartolomeo Montagna; delicious a small "Madonna and child" by Cima da Conegliano. In reality would be to mention one by one all the "masterpieces" featured in the exhibition, because each of them truly deserves a careful vision and many a prolonged contemplation. Gallery and exhibition is open until 15 November, so there are only a few days left to take advantage of this opportunity (the Gallery reopens in spring).

  • Not bad. Necessarily dark down-lighting slightly overdone and oppressive, but nicely laid out overall. The Venetians do like a good stairwell, it must be said. Relatively expensive compared to the Accademia, say.
  • This place is incredible
  • My favourite gallery in Venice: not too big, with lovely paintings, interesting objets d'arte and a good selection of temporary exhibitions
  • Works of one of the most important Italian collectors of the 20th century: the entrepreneur and philanthropist Vittorio Cini. Titian, Lotto, Tiepolo ...

  • Many beautiful paintings, painters little represented in Venice, dimensions that allow a proper contemplation of the works.
