  • Belli on Botticelli and Piero della Francesca. View of three rooms, small but nice. In my opinion the entrance ticket price a little high (€10.00).

  • The Cini Foundation, housed in the former Benedictine monastery of San Giorgio Maggiore, is one of Italy's most important cultural institutions. You can visit the headquarters through a guided tour, which leads to the discovery of evocative ambience full of history. Beautiful and harmonious the Palladian Refectory, which housed the "wedding at Cana," Paolo Veronese's masterpiece in the Louvre by order of Napoleon Bonaparte. Extraordinary 17th-century library, designed by Baldassare Longhena, modern and functional that obtained in the ancient monastic dormitory. Suspended in time the two cloisters, the Palladium and the cypress trees. The highly symbolic the maze of Jorge Luis Borges.

Where to stay in Venice

Save money and avoid tourist crowds by booking your accommodation outside the historical center of Venice. Central Venice is full of picturesque canals and narrow lanes, but it is also extremely noisy and hectic throughout the day and late into the night. You can explore the ancient city's charms at your own pace by staying at a comfortable B&B or small hotel located in the city's residential suburbs. To stay close to the finest beaches and restaurants, check into a hotel on the island of Lido, the city's famous seaside resort.
