  • My favorite in Venice Church which by its dimensions, the omnipresence of white stone and the purity of its lines makes you almost forget that it is also a masterpiece of the baroque.

  • Probably one of the least visited due to its relative distance from the tourist routes, but certainly one of the most impressive by its interior dimensions and the luxury of its decoration in two-tone, green and white marble; its large somewhat austere façade makes not particularly enter, but it would be regrettable. Built in its final form by the Jesuits in the 18th century its origins date back to the 12th century but 2 on the 12th and 16th fire destroyed the buildings in place. Around the church you can see elements of the monastery and the hospital built at the same time by the Jesuits. A beautiful altar and some interesting works required this visit. €1 only for the visit and the maintenance of the Church, a gift for Venice.

  • Venice is certainly rich in beautiful and very beautiful churches, but nevertheless, the Chiesa di Santa Maria stands out Assunta of Josephine I Gesuiti. The multi-coloured marble and the magnificent paintings and ceiling impress immensely. Due to the proximity to the plant site "Fondamente Nove" is very easily accessible, yet kept the flow of tourists into borders.

  • Breathtaking inside and out, marvelously decorated with a very clear baroque taste!
  • Nice church aside of the crowd! Simon Visit my website: www.noireblanc.de
  • Has the 12 apostles on top. Cost is €1 to enter. The Gesuits were kicked out of Venice for siding with the pope. Later they had to buy back the church and were given temporary status. They had to re-apply ever 3 years
  • The opening hours are really tight. Either from 10-12 pm or 4-6 pm.
  • Phenomenal and off the beaten track for Venice
