  • This amazing church holds the remains of Saint Lucia. You often see relics in churches in Europe but rarely a mummified saint in a glass case.
  • Just by chance I stumbled across this church from the artistic point of view is very similar to most of our parishes ... certainly in Venice between Golden basilicas and frescoed palaces this seems just a humble little church ... except that holds the remains of Santa Lucia! For me it was a huge surprise and for that alone is worth a visit! Santa's face is covered with a silver mask but hands and feet are clearly visible.

  • It is a small, simple Church inside and out, of the nicest things that has a golden altar is the chapel of Santa Lucia, with nice.

  • Beautiful church worth a visit especially to see other parts of Venice other than just San Marco square
  • It is a nice church. Nice architectural structure and great location. Also interesting for the body of Saint Lucy Nevertheless it lacks the special character and the masterpieces that we find in almost any church in Venice
  • Nice turist destianation
  • Another beautiful church in Venice, what is special about this church it has the body of St. Lucy ( patron saint of eyes ) that that is on displayed in a glass sarcophagus, also there is a gift shop at the back of the church.
  • Though it is not well known like St Mark Church, this one is worth to add in any walking tour in Venice.
