  • This magnificent Church is located in a very typical area of the Castello, far from the hustle and bustle. Two magnificent works are to be discovered: a Bellini Madonna and a Madonna of Negroponte. They are splendid as the Chiesa. And it's quite rare, there is a splendid cloister to discover. And admission is free, while most of the churches are paying in Venice. And there was even a concert of ancient music with lute, vocals and flute. In short it is the Chiesa to discover.

  • The Church of San Francesco della Vigna is not easy to find, but has a beautiful courtyard. The Church is small, but beautiful. You can discover the corresponding Campanile from afar. The red-and white columns that are known from the Donna Leon movies of the ARD are left next to the Church. But only the exterior shots are filmed here. For me an absolute insider tip, because not everyone knows where Donna Leon is shot. The place is secluded and is therefore very quiet, there are hardly any tourists.

  • Wend your way through the narrow alleys to visit this architectural gem which houses some amazing artworks.
  • Nice and majestic church, not very frequented by tourists, with a very distibguishable bell tower!
  • Beautiful campanile style St. Marc. The Church is classical, the works are not enough highlighted. You can admire some paintings by Veronese, Bellini among others. The organ is located behind the altar, little current. See also the cloister, beautiful.

  • Beautiful church with facade designed by Palladio and one of the city's most impressive Belfries.
