  • This is the Church of Saint Barnabas square. The scene falls Canal, Katharine Hepburn in the movie "information" is. Word of mouth read we want to now. Coming to this area, and much fewer tourists, and relieved. Because Venice was crowded with tourists in the middle of winter! Did Leonardo da Vinci exhibition in the Church is a large building, but. Venice Church was like a commercial aspect (? _?)

  • This is another pretty little Venetian church. Originally constructed in the 15th century, then extensively refurbished in the 18th. These days it holds an exhibition for Leonardo da Vinci.  more »
  • The Chiesa di San Barnaba is known to many movie fans by "Indiana Jones and the last crusade". It is located on a square near the Palazzo CA' Rezzonico. At the time of our planned visit there was an exhibition on Leonardo da Vinci, whose entrance fee of 8 euros was too high for us, so we have looked at the building only from the outside.

  • Young girl at the ticket office for the da vinci show in the church definitely has an attitude problem! She was rude to every single customer. In between rude replies she was busy on her iphone. The show itself was ok-ish but very basic... Done in 5 minutes.. hardly worth your time or money. Da vinci deserves better!
  • one of my favourites in venice. great views all around
  • Charming church in the equally tranquil and charming Campo San Barnaba FILLED with hands on AMAZING replicas of Leonardo Da Vinci's machines that have been reproduced from his codices! My son closed the place down...couldn't tear him away. Open 7 days 9:30-19:30. Vaporetto line 1- Ca Rezzonico stop.
  • Great church! This is the church that was used in the filming of the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Where it was supposedly a library with catacombs underneath.
  • Nice spot
