  • The Chiesa del Santissimo Redentore is certainly one of the most famous churches of Venice, because their striking appearance on many photos is pictured. You located on the Giudecca island and is accessible from the Mainland and others with line 2. It is part of the chorus circuit, i.e., admission is free for pass holders, otherwise it will cost 3 euros.

  • Temple beautiful both outside and inside! Beautiful view opens on Redontore by channel. I was lucky-I've seen and domestic interiors-delicious!

  • The Basilica, the architect Andrea Palladio, was built in 1577 to celebrate the liberation of the city from a terrible plague. Inside works by Tintoretto, Veronese, Palma il Giovane, Francesco Bassano and Pietro della Vecchia. The façade is one of the greatest examples of Palladian religious architecture. The basilica was completed by Antonio da Ponte in 1592, twelve years after the death of Palladio. A single nave, with a rectangular plan, with a large central dome and two cylindrical towers similar to minarets. White marble façade, typical of Palladio's buildings, with columns and statues of Saints and angels. Inside two precious marble holy water on which there are two bronze sculptures depicting the Baptist and the Redeemer, and Veronese and Tintoretto, Bassano blades.

  • Good food. I ate suppa (...) vegetables (Ministrone), the others at Pizza. Formaggio, Magaritha and a Pizza with cooked ham and champignons. The champignos come from the can or glas = minus 1 Star. I dont understand this. Champignos must be fresh on Pizza. And this happens in a good Restaurant in Italy. If this happens at a Döner-Pizzaria in Germany, I say ok. But even in a German Italien Restaurant this is a no go. Why??? Take Fresh Champignos!
  • Amazing views, unmissable during Redentore day
  • Beautiful Place loved it!
  • Beautiful place!
