  • The current exhibition dedicated to the artist of the title is very special but worth to be seen.

  • The House is made even more beautiful by the photographs of the artist. Interesting video on the first floor which shows the techniques for the preparation of the scenography. Well done even photo captions to explain the true intent of LaChapelle. Photos can be menus (direct messages and strong) for those unfamiliar with the artist. I highly recommend by the first week of September!

  • An interesting neo-Gothic building of the early 20th century overlooking the Giudecca Canal. The main floor with three large Windows (the three OIC). Else has decorations reminiscent of Venetian Gothic palaces. The inside still has the original environment and we organize cultural events of modern art. A beautiful building that I recommend to anyone who is interested in architectural trends of the last century.

  • A wonderful photographic gallery on Giudecca Island. If you are into photography, this is well worth a visit. Ferry tickets can be bought at a terminal near St.Mark's square. Leave the square, head to the big canal. Turn left, go over two bridges, past the statue with the horse and you are there.
  • Lovely gallery space away from the hustle and crowds across the canal in Venice. Peaceful, light and with plenty of space so you don't feel crowded (unlike some galleries). Well worth the short vaporetto ride across the Giudecca canal.
  • The art was beautiful and a great way to experience some Italian culture, but I was mugged by a Gypsy.
  • Fantastic view breath taking site seeing
  • A gem of a museum/gallery for photomedia and contemporary art.

Where to stay in Venice

Save money and avoid tourist crowds by booking your accommodation outside the historical center of Venice. Central Venice is full of picturesque canals and narrow lanes, but it is also extremely noisy and hectic throughout the day and late into the night. You can explore the ancient city's charms at your own pace by staying at a comfortable B&B or small hotel located in the city's residential suburbs. To stay close to the finest beaches and restaurants, check into a hotel on the island of Lido, the city's famous seaside resort.
