  • In Venice I visited a beautiful exhibition dedicated to "Jannis Kounellis", the painter of the current "Poor Art". The exhibition reconstructs the artist's artistic and exhibition history, creating a fantastic dialogue between his works and the eighteenth-century spaces of the Queen's Ca' Corner. Beautifully organized, the exhibition helps to perceive the feeling that, in all his work, Kounellis develops a tragic and personal relationship with culture and history, avoiding an aulic and reverential attitude. The staff is of exemplary courtesy and expertise; In one of the rooms I asked a young clerk a question and she entertained us for about ten minutes, with a perfect and interesting explanation, listened to with satisfaction by other visitors. The only regret did not buy, in order not to be able to caricarmelo, the volume curated by Germano Celant, which describes the path of the artist. Congratulations very much to the Prada Foundation, which promoted the event.

  • bought by Prada a few years ago this beautiful Palace is only visible when there is an exhibition, this is the case at present with the exhibition on 20th century intellectuals who lived in exile and retreat into new refuges (Wittgenstein, Heidegger, etc.) hence the title of the exhibition: "thinking machines" to designate these new habitats where they continued to develop their philosophical work, this makes very nice pictures with the reconstruction of the houses in the middle of the frescoes of the palace and the models of the Soegnenfjord landscape in Norway (for example). All this is very sharp and interests few visitors if you look at the attendance.... The visit costs 15 euros but is free for the over 65s.

  • Who said contemporary art, installation, video and surprises; all in a beautiful Venetian Palace. This museum is a little outside the box and yet... what Nice quality exhibitions and artists. The theme was on the thought. A facility shows a salon frequented by philosophers in Austria. Mark Riley is reproduced cabins of meditations of philosophers. Bartolomeo Montagna there alongside Alexander Kluge and nature is shown as a showcase for the thought of the man, we liked the thematic deployment of exposure. Bravo to the curators!

  • Nice renovation

  • The PRADA Foundation has moved into one of the grand canal palaces, which it has probably renovated. However I did not like the exhibition presented 2 years ago, uninteresting and not worthy of this big name of fashion, nor the atmosphere. The entrance is paid yet you have to have something to see.
