Without a doubt, this was the highlight of my wife Jenny’s and my vacation to Venice. My mother was of Italian heritage; my wife of full Italian heritage. We both grew up devouring Southern Italian food. Both of us learned how to cook it as well. Over the years our taste evolved to Northern Italian cuisine. When an opportunity arose to take a class at this exquisite B & B, we both jumped at it. The class went far beyond our expectations; the learning experience, wonderful. Moreover, the warm and genuine hospitality of Marika and her staff touched us, and will be cherished by us for years to come. While in Venice, Jenny and I couldn’t recommend Acquolina more. Go, you won’t be sorry!
Just the perfect experience! A must for anyone who enjoys cooking. Marika was incredibly welcoming and warm. Generous of her person and an outstanding teacher. My husband and I are both quite experienced home cooks and feel we have learned a lot. Her kitchen is gorgeous and well equipped. The recipes we cooked were all great and we had so much fun making them and eating everything we made afterwards. The whole experience was beyond our expectations. Thank you Marika for such a great time. Élisabeth & Braunyno
Hilights of my trip. So much fun a great food prepare .... Really the best meal of my Italian vacation. Thanks Marika & team for this great experience and to accomodate us with such short notice in your Beautiful Villa and to organize a cooking class for us. Will really remember our stay in Villa INES and this experience forever!!!
I'm fond of cooking, my boyfriend for our anniversary just got a Pasta course Extravaganza for 2 people at watering. It was a memorable experience: arriving at Venice Lido, be accepted in an art nouveau villa, get into a fully equipped kitchen with the Blast chillers ... And then know the lovely and welcoming owner of home, as well as cooking school chef. Experience a must-try for those who already know cook well but also for those who want to learn new recipes and culinary tricks.
I treated this couple's experience to my girl passionate about cooking; Marika was very professional and very nice, we made some dishes starting from raw water and flour, which stunned me given my inconvenience in the kitchen! I recommend it to everyone, you learn many tricks from real chef!
