This bakery is well off the beaten path... but definitely worth the effort to find. It also gave us the opportunity to see more of Venice away from the hoards of tourists. The coffee was great and com...  more »

Famous for the bakery, which is beautiful and good and you eat with your eyes, every piece has its own elegance. I was struck by the sense of this place that gives value to small things and work. Everything is very nice and care make it valuable every aspect without convey boria. And here we come to the coffee ... which has a special flavor and taste to the end in a service it deserves. Great experience and still affordable! Highly recommended!

  • So good I went twice in one day. I was the first one in line at 7:45, as I up for sunrise. I was able to get my hands on two Krapfen (one creme filled, one apricot jam); they were the best pastries I've ever had in my life. The latte was good. The other pastries were good too. Very reasonably priced.
  • Lovely pastry shop. Low prices (~1€ coffee/pastry), wide variety of desserts, very friendly staff.
  • Just been here, stood at the bar and had the best pastries and cappuccino. Great place
  • Amazing place and everyone knows it. Each pastry is 1 euro. So go early before lunch. By the afternoon most everything is sold out. But we stopped anyway and found goodies. We had an incredible puff pastry with oodles of coffee cream filling and dusting of cocoa. Also tried puff pastry with vanilla cream filling and chocolate coating. Another friend tried a variety of Italian cookies for 1+ euro
  • Great pastry. Great coffee. Long queue.

Where to stay in Venice

Save money and avoid tourist crowds by booking your accommodation outside the historical center of Venice. Central Venice is full of picturesque canals and narrow lanes, but it is also extremely noisy and hectic throughout the day and late into the night. You can explore the ancient city's charms at your own pace by staying at a comfortable B&B or small hotel located in the city's residential suburbs. To stay close to the finest beaches and restaurants, check into a hotel on the island of Lido, the city's famous seaside resort.
