Trip Planner: Europe / Italy / Piedmont / Province of Turin / Venaria Reale / Parco Regionale La Mandria
Parco Regionale La Mandria, the largest enclosed park in Europe, houses fascinating treasures like the last of the forest that once covered the Po Plain. When you go, keep an eye out for wildlife, including reindeer and wild boars. You can even see breeds of racehorses that are now at risk of extinction. There is also a castle, Borgo Castello, built in the mid 19th century by Victor Emmanuel II of Sardinia. You can choose to explore this large park on foot or by trolley and horse carriage. Parco Regionale La Mandria Reviews
Visto le temperature sottozero, non abbiamo visitato il Parco ma solo il Castello della Mandria: la casa (più personale, si fa x dire) di Vittorio Emanuele II e di Rosina. Thanks to the Guide (great) who accompanied us, we visited the environments really are different from those of the Venaria Royal Palace (a decidedly more impressive) and also known these details more or less monarchic past our public. Don't miss out on this visit and take a trip to the cafeteria: we ate simply but the dishes are prepared by students of the Training Institute hosted Plexus and should be encouraged.

And then visit the Royal apartments in the Castle. I still recommend to take the train in Venaria and also visit sunset Lakes Villa (beautiful views).
Chiamarlo castello è troppo in quanto la reputo una grande villa raccolta, con stanze unite e comunicanti. Very rich and kept very well, make you understand the intimacy between the beautiful Rosina and King, a long corridor filled with stuffed animals that were their trophies. The castle can be visited only on a plane but I think it is very rich and interesting.
Huge park just outside Venaria Reale that is a suburb of Turin. Good for walking, tracking and cycling. Once there, visit the palace - it's small yet very cosy and interesting.
Dense forest near the city. Suitable for walking and cycling trial.
Huge and interesting. Worth spending a day exploring this
