  • Unfortunately the Venafro Castle built by Pando is not highly publicized, and I fear that the same venafrani are not aware of how interesting can be a visit to this site. Highly recommended, even for the courtesy and availability of the guides.

  • did you know that in this castle, magnificently recently readjusted to cultural artifact, there are depicted on the wall almost only life-size Arabian horses? I understand that only in Mantua there are similar. This alone would merit a visit but the whole Castle oozes the exploits of the noble family of Pando, and excellently restored beautifully exposed the medieval complex is unmissable.

  • Visited in a day do, so we also had the good fortune to have a guide! It's a bit bare but fairly well maintained.

  • Me and my group spent a few days in Venafro. Although it is a small town still offers a beautiful landscape and a beautiful castle where inside there are different types of works and paintings beautiful and important. Good also the tour guide!
