Vatican Gardens, Vatican City
(4.4/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
Take a tour through the 23 hectares (57 acres) of parks and gardens at Vatican Gardens. This space covers more than half of the Vatican territory, and features green lawns and flowers, fountains, and statues, as well as medieval fortifications, monuments, and buildings from the ninth century up to the present day. As general access is limited to tour groups, this green area is more peaceful than the rest of Vatican City. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to Vatican Gardens and many more Vatican City attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Vatican City trip itinerary builder.

  • If you are visiting Rome this place of peace should be visited, advice with a guide to be able to catch all the details and information. The walking trail is the best one, starting from the walls where you can see some Roman hills along the trail where the various fountains and trees adorn the grounds. Many are donations made to the Popes over the centuries and positioned at various points of the path until you reach the grotto of our Lady of Lourdes and the outermost House Tower of Pope John XXIII. To admire the well-tended Italian garden.

  • It is truly a piece of paradise to which they could access with full tour Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel and the Vatican gardens. You walk in a oasis of peace between clean walkways, where not even a blade of grass is out of place and restoring silence reigns. Nice raise your gaze and see close and huge the dome.
