Vatican Gardens, Vatican City

Categories: Gardens, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web
Take a tour through the 23 hectares (57 acres) of parks and gardens at Vatican Gardens. This space covers more than half of the Vatican territory, and features green lawns and flowers, fountains, and statues, as well as medieval fortifications, monuments, and buildings from the ninth century up to the present day. As general access is limited to tour groups, this green area is more peaceful than the rest of Vatican City.
