  • The museum presents a series of exhibits dedicated to the First World War fought on the Piave. The exhibition path is rational, logical, complete and you can draw an almost tactile experience of the tragedy of the First World War. Not to be missed for the recuperants and the fans of history, not to be missed in the themes. Among the unique exhibits are the original notes of Rommel (yes, that of the Afrika Korps who fought at Caporetto) related to his descent to Longarone. The exhibition presents a remarkable series of uniforms and equipment related to the armies that faced each other. Not to be missed is the section dedicated to the flight with a faithful and working reconstruction of the SPAD, the fighter plane of Francesco Baracca. There are also some flight simulators available to visitors. A nigliorabile aspect are the captions (some exhibitors are lacking) but the people to the assistance are very willing to illustrate the content of the exhibition, which, to think of it, is also better because to hear tell not only what is an object but also the His story is much better than reading a caption. Not to be missed

  • I went by chance, along with a company of people who took me there. You can see it from the street, but you'd never think of visiting it if you don't tell it. It is not flashy or reported by who knows what poster or mass media, but to visit. I don't know how they manage to keep this structure up, that maybe it would need some background to improve it, but it's worth a stop, a visit. I think it's a nice structure with nice pieces, good exhibits. Good ones who care.

  • Passing on the street, I was wondering every time what showed this museum del Piave. Visit it was a pleasant surprise. Inside, 20 mannequins dressed in period uniforms, rigorously documented. The plane of Francesco Baracca (true copy of the original). If required and book, 5 multimedia experiences on board. Great for teachers and schools,

  • Lots of uniforms, tools and maps help you understand the WW1 battles around the Piave. Nice biplane inside.
  • A well-kept and organized museum of the Great War, with a complete collection of uniforms of the soldiers of the belligerent nations, has the original uniform of Erwin Rommel (donated to the museum by his son). After the Great War at the behest of the then pastor of the country Don Antonio Pavan and Vincenzo Colognese, countless objects and memorabilia were poured in, linked to that historical period and found in the area in the period of the new front after Caporetto (Nov 1917/Nov 1918), with the intent of keeping alive the memory of facts and places. Interesting the presence of a copy of the aircraft SPAD XIII, while it was placed on the entrance hall a complete boat in iron AU (per bridge) recovered from a few years from the Bed del Piave (Ponte di Piave 2004), found and present also the two original anchors . A thank you is due to the now few volunteers left, who with their passion, still allow the visit to the museum.

  • Beautiful place set foot of a mountain in a valley of the Piave, Sacred River, in a historical locality that still recalls a terrible war, the most gory in our territory. The museum reminds us, through its old relics and the many images of the time the destructions of the countries, the victims among the soldiers, the terrible human vicissitudes of the refugees and displaced people, the signs that contains are memorable, we also find in these our Roots, we hope that these events are only a memory and that in the future remember the new generations that everything is lost with the war, that everything can be achieved with peace.
